K & D Farm Rescue
Thousands of horses are sent to slaughter every year! Kill pens all over the country buy them dirt cheap at auctions and if the horses are decent, they try to sell them. There are a lot of great horses out there that need saved!! THIS IS OUR HEART!
These are two of our saved horses! Baxter (palomino) and JJ (paint), both rescued!! Baxter found his forever home and JJ is still looking!
Mission
To rescue as many horses as we can. We're hoping for 5-10 per year. No horse deserves to be stuffed in a semi bound for Mexico to be slaughtered!
WE WANT TO GIVE THEM A CHANCE!
Vision
We can't do this on our own. We have to raise bail for the horses, transport them here, put training on them and then find them the right home.
